Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your opinion and examples from your own experience. The way people appear at their workplace has changed dramatically over the years, especially in the last two decades. While in many firms employees are free to wear whatever they want, in some places the staff are encouraged and/or required to follow a more defined and professional dress code to maintain a professional image of themselves and the business. I believe that not only does wearing a business attire have a positive impact on customers but it also improve punctuality and discipline amongst employees. A case in point is the dress code follows in army where hierarchical organization could not be recognized if officers do not wear their specific uniforms. Being identified by their white uniforms, medical staff around the globe are easily recognized even on the battle fields. Additionally, we should bear in mind that the appearance of individuals represents the organization and efficiency of their workplace, hence the importance of having a dress code. I hold the idea that, applying strict rules about people’s outfit can arouse resistance, decrease job satisfaction and lessen creativity among employees. Arguably wearing official clothes is not easy for everyone, and this can cause a lower performance of people who are not used to wearing official suites. Although many critics argue that this approach can result in untidiness and irregularity, I believe it can improve creativity and strengthen sense of responsibility to the company where employees are respected only because of nothing but their productivity. By way of conclusion, I maintain that asking the payees to follow a specific dress of code is not a wise decision although for sure even in otherwise workplaces many a people does not like to wear a casual clothes. How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers? Majority of adults in most societies spend their time at work either for career development or only for earning money. So, these days wellbeing experts and psychologist consensus that job satisfaction can be the crucial element in people’s wellbeing. The main factors that can be considered as playing role in job satisfaction are feeling of inclusion, valuable and developing. And, it is claimed that they are realistic expectation in to some extend. First, it is important that an employee have the feeling of belonging to the company. Including the employee in decision making and important situation of the company will make him feel included and as a part of a family he will show more ownership and commitment towards the company while at the same time is good for his day to day wellbeing. Inclusion is not a high expectation though. A company of any employer can easily give that feeling to his employees. Inviting them to quarterly review of company performance either is a good performance or poor performance will give the sense of belonging. The other factor that play a key role in employees wellbeing is feeling of being valuable. Spending over 10 hours a day at work and getting involvedto issues and obstacles of a work environment that may come across every day will make people sometimes exhausted. In spite of all daily challenges at the end of the day that sense of having added value on the progress and performance of overall company will make them satisfied. Hence, just a thank you , well-done once in a while or even a recognition in a meeting can give that sense to employees. That does not seem an high expectation. And the third factor plays an important part in people wellbeing is their development in their career. Some people work for daily earnings and they may not came to the point that they need to be developed over a time. The fact is that it cannot be their primary need. But, those people that are satisfied with their earnings and have the feeling of inclusion and valuable at their job, will seek another need of them, which is their career development. They need some motives more than inclusion and being valuable. They are looking for promotion and development. Not having the option for raise or development will diminish employee’s motivation easily. In conclusion, there are factors plays crucial role in people’s wellbeing on their daily jobs. Although some advocate the living with family, I strongly asset that the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks which will be elaborated. Firstly, those who choose to live alone improve their self-reliance and gain more independence. Living alone, they have to increase their self-esteem. Not only can family support limit progress of individuals in having independence personality but also it is as a limitation for their freedom. A good illustration of this is independence of the students that live far from their parents lonely rather than other pupils that are not alone in the period of school life. Yet another rational justification for living alone is improvement of special skills such as cooking. More specifically, people who live alone should overcome a lot of daily problems. There is not anyone to help them for doing a lot of work in the house. They special foods for their cats and dogs, buy them toys, and pay high fees for their medical treatments. Some think it is waste of time and they are dangerous and dirty. What are the advantageous and disadvantageous of having pets? Do people spend too much money on pets? One of the main aspects of humankind is the ability to change, and lifestyle change is one of the prominent ones. Maybe if one asked about merits and demerits of bringing an animal at home about a hundred years ago, many get bewildered and taught you are joking, but this is so common in many cultures nowadays. This essay is going to discuss the issue in more detail. On the one hand, it should be related that based on psychological researches, many of the pets’ owners may suffer from some mental problems even though they may not be too much detrimental or without any external symptoms. For instance, if many of these people had children beside themselves, they would not reveal too much inclinations toward pets. Moreover, having pets may even resonate their illusion of mental health as they enjoy a lot and interpret it as a real satisfaction while this lifestyle remote them more from the real psychic health. On the other hand, the owners of these pets may lack sufficient social relations, as a result they do not have a real perception about neither poor people of society nor their capabilities to support them. They spend too much money on pets’ health while many should tolerate shortage of drugs. They heed their pets too much while there are many orphans looking for a warm hand on their heads in orphanage. By considering issues like these, isn’t it rational to find a better trade-off to maximize the total welfare of society including humans and animals all together? Over all, I do emphasize that having a normal life with pets with logical way of spending money for them, and allowing the kids to grow up with them should be excluded from what mentioned in the previous paragraphs.
