Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? For success in a future job, the ability to relate well to people is more important than studying hard in school. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. It is stated that for being successful in a future walk of life, connecting well to people is more vital than learning hard in school. I partly approve of this belief because being well-connected to people and studying hard at school both have a positive outcome for people. Admittedly, if people want to become prosperous in their future careers they must create a good relationship with other people. Being well-connected to people play a pivotal role in their future. With the aid of close and effective relationship among people, they can find a suitable job for themselves or achieve a better position in a specific company. Moreover, not only does this connectivity provide a lot of opportunity for people to find a better job, but also people can benefit from their colleague’s knowledge and improve their capability of themselves. Another example is about salespeople, they who have to be sociable people and make/develop a strong relationship with their customers to become successful in their jobs, hence, there is a possibility that they get promotions and reach higher levels at their organizations. On the other hand, in addition to being well-connected to others, people must have a sufficient knowledge about their professions. It is crucial for young people to study hard and find their interests. Consequently, they can pursue work on their heartfelt interests and enrich their knowledge and become an expert in a specific field of study. It is evident that with the help of their knowledge there are a lot of opportunities that will emerge for them and they can choose a the best and suitable job for themselves and do their bests in their jobs. To put it in a nutshell, it is true that stablishing an effective relationship can bring a lot of advantages for people to become successful in a specific job in the future, but equally importantly, putting a lot of effort in learning at school or university can possess result in a lot of benefits for them.
