Some people say that the education system is the only critical factor in the development of a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Undoubtedly, the education level of each society plays a undeniably pivotal role in its progress. The question, however, is “whether or not this is the only essential factor leading to countries' success”. Regarding this, I believe, despite the importance of educational matters, other factors should come into play to guarantee any country’s high development. On the one hand, some experts argue that without having professional knowledge, countries cannot take steps to reach prosperous conditions. In other words, for carrying out different roles in society, there must be some experts, who has been efficiently educated in that specific area, otherwise they would waste valuable resources, including natural and human ones. As a case in point, if a civil engineer, nominated for instructing constructing a useful highway to reduce traffic congestion, does not have enough information to do it correctly, not only does he not solve the main problem, but also he would cause irreparable expenses through his wrong decisions and make the situation even worse than before, hence many irreversibly failed projects. On the other hand, for succeeding in any project, an expert must definitely have some essential infrastructures to do his job properly, meaning. Meaning that, even if a person has the best knowledge in the world for inventing some incredible invention in an area, he cannot do it with empty hands. To exemplify, imagine in the aforementioned example of new highway instructionconstruction, how possibly can the engineer carry out a successful job without adequate budget, row materials and labor forces? At last, the main conclusion to be drawn from this discussion is that although education contributes strongly to any country’s progress, though in lower priority, hardly can a person deny the importance of other related factors. To make my point crystal clear, many a country is suffering from lack of one or more of these factors, the most important of which are professional knowledge, natural and human resources. Thus, a full combination of requirements must be fulfilled to increase a country’s GDP.
