In some countries it is now illegal to reject someone applying for a job because of his or her age. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? In many parts of the world people can apply for a vacancy regardless of their age, sex, religion, race and whatsoever could be considered a type of discrimination. In fact suitable laws prevent employers rejecting job seekers who might be a victim or discrimination. Though many cite that this approach is a double-edged sword, I personally, believe the merits far outweigh the demerits. In most developed countries people over 50 freely apply for the vacancies suitable for their experience without fear of their age. In other words, not only is age an advantage, but also older people are respected more due to their many years of experience. Considering special needs of older people such as medication, rejection of their job application could result in catastrophe for a large group of society. Disappointed and physically weakened, aged job seekers expect the officials to introduce protective legislation. Furthermore, not all but certainly a large portion of labor force in every society nowadays are individuals above 50 years old who bear the burden of majority of responsibilities, and if they lose their job for any rational or irrational ground, and appropriate laws do not protect them to find another position, they definitely do not work in favour of their society but for saving their own position. Although I maintain that some physical vacancies are not suitable for aged people, I am strongly of the idea that any kind of discrimination must be abolished in a modern society. I argue that it is incumbent upon officials to introduce legislations to illegalize age constraints.

More and more qualified people are moving from poor to rich countries to fill vacancies in specialist areas like engineering, computing and medicine. Some people believe that by encouraging the movement of such people rich countries are stealing from poor countries. Others feel that this is only part of the natural movement of workers around the world. Today, by virtue of highly available opportunities in some countries many talented people leave their own countries for good to achieve a better life. Some think that this so-called “brain drain” should be prevented because of having constructive destructive effects on left developing countries’ economy and subsequently spreads poverty among people. Many, however, believe that it is an ordinary event and there is no concern about it. On the one hand, many people argue that the process of seeking a job in a better country is natural and throughout history it has happened. It is the obviously undeniable right of every the workforce to follow their ambitions to have a perfect job in an ideal place. Therefore, not only is it a markedly normal phenomenon, but also it should not be stopped. There are amid ample opportunity in developed countries, thereby attracting many talented people to attain their unfulfilled dreams which are not possibly attainable in their countries. Thus, the advocates of this matter consider it a fact which can pave the way for qualified people to access preferable proper facilities to improve themselves and also the host country. On the other hand, many are opponents of professional workers leaving their own country by professional workers to work in a rich one. They believe that it damages poor countries’ economy and then these countries cannot get rid of economic issues since no longer do their experts stay in their homeland. They think that the countrythey have invested in the students and teach taught them for future, so they should stay in order for their society to be advanced financially. Therefore, the country can make preparations for next generations to experience better quality of life. To address this matter, there are some measures that have been cited as the solutions such as persuading foreign countries to invest in the poor countries in the area where they need workforce. Thus, both countries can benefit from it.Consequently, although brain drain seems to be a natural movement, all countries should take some actions to slow it down due to in order to holding the world in balance.

Nowadays, people move from one country to another for work. Some people think children of these families suffer because of this, while others think it is helpful for them. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Immigration is always recognized as a controversial issue due to having both benefits and drawbacks. Making such an essential decision affects not only parents' lives but also children's. However, I believe that children could profit much more than their parents if they were taken to the destination country while they are very young. Experiencing a novel environment seems attractive to children for their ability of adaptation. The younger children immigrate, the more they can acclimate themselves to the new conditions. The main reason of this pertains to children's behaviors such as being risky and forgetful which enables them to alleviate their fear of facing a new world. On the other hand, in this case a better education is provided for children. Besides, they could easily expand their relationships, find friends and improve their new language as a result. However, the pace existed existing in before and after situations of their life, contributes to some troubles. Despite the numerous advantages of foreign countries as the new home for children, several aspects may bother them. Firstly, they will recognize their parents’ stress and embarrassment at home for example in seeking an occupation which causes a negative impact on them. Secondly, being different from their friends in appearance, religion and even the level of family prosperity, may lead to their self-confidence reduction as they grown up. In a nutshell, the benefits of moving to another country, outweight the drawbacks, particularly for children because of their easy-going lifestyle. Therefore, parents make this choice for creating a better future for their children, albeit unpreferablyreluctantly.

Many children these days have unhealthy lifestyle. Both parents and schools are responsible for solving this problem. To what extent do you agree whit this statement. Over times, children's lifestyle has become unhealthier than the past, although they have more opportunities to live in hygienic surroundings, have access to nourishing food and which lead to a healthy life. Some people believe that both parents and schools should take responsibilities responsibility in order to deal whit with this problem. I personally would agree whit with this idea, and in this essay I will set out to explain why. First and foremost, parents are believed to have the main responsibility to ameliorate improve the lifestyle of their kids. In fact, they are the main caregiver, and play a significant role in their children's life. These days, parents have gotten involved in a hectic life which leads to spending less time with their children.as As a result, children tend to spend long hours in front of television or computers ,instead of doing physical activities, and rely heavily on fast foods which lacks of vital nutrition . Therefore, parents are under obligation, not only to provide them with healthy food, but also to give them guidelines for activities in the spare time to keep fit. In addition, parents are expected to be the primary role model of leading a healthy lifestyle, as they have crucial impact on the development of teenagers. Most experts have argued that children are more likely to make a habit of doing outdoor activity if their parents play sports whit them. As far as I am concerned, schools are the second most influential community in children's life, because children often spend considerable time at school. Schools are also able act more responsibly if they pay more attention to the way of student's living. The more extra-curricular activities about healthy lifestyle schools hold, the more knowledge students can gain and follow. Furthermore, children might be encouraged to do more exercise if schools hold regular sports competition. Although, it has been argued that only parents are responsible for tackling the difficulty of unhealthy children's lifestyle, it has been showed that schools have great influence on boosting children to be more active, and provide them whit with worthy information regarding the benefits of the a healthy life. To sum up, parents and schools are able to improve children's lifestyle simultaneously. In other words, I believe that kids can lead a healthier life if they are under the guidance of both parents and teachers.

Sanaz Namdar Topic: Nowadays, people move from one country to another for work. Some people think children of these families suffer because of this, while others think it is helpful for them. Discuss both views and give your opinion. The recent developments have caused the globalization phenomenon having to have rendered people with numbers of job opportunities in foreign territories, and hence people’s immigration together with their family members. Some are for this notion whilst others put more emphasis on its detrimental effects. From my point of view, with by considering all aspects of this trend, people can reduce its demerits and reap the benefits of its long-term merits. Migrating to overseas along with their families in part due to obtaining more job opportunities sounds more beneficial in terms of the children of these families. First and foremost, by working in foreign countries people can earn higher incomes leading to an improvement in the level of family’s welfare and economic conditions. Secondly, since globalization has enriched some of the developed countries with ample jobs where most people immigrate to, they provide their children with more appropriate educational facilities compared to their homelands, so they can broaden their horizon that which developsfostering their talents in some novel areas. In addition, it may even be plausible for them to study in world-class elite universities. Last but not least, they can acquire second language and make new friends. Furthermore, it is well-documented that children can assimilate into and adjust with to other cultures far more easily and quickly in comparison with their adults. On the other hand, the opponents of this trend insist on its dire effects on offsprings. This complete transformation results in facing a different lifestyle and culture of the locals. Their new situations including schools, teachers, classmates, and the language will make them perceive that they are in the different world. This mental unprecedented strain has a huge number oframifications at for children. They may be dejected and even have some negative consequences on their education. If they cannot handle these cultural shocks or even language barrier experiencing during the relocation, they may not assimilate into their new societies having arisenwhich may arise in some countries. To illustrate, the next generation of African settlers in some European countries does/do not feel that they are a part of their societies so that the statistics of crimes boost are rising among these communities. In conclusion, although there are some various views about bringing children with their parents to migrate to other countries for working, I personally advocate this notion due the aforementioned reasons.

Nowadays, people move from one country to another. Some people think children of these families suffer because of this, while others think it is helpful for them. Discuss both views and give your opinion. In recent decades, migration has become a pressing issue,. There is a range of questions as to whether children, who follows their parents and leave their home ground for a new country to live in, benefit from locating settling in a new situation as an immigrant or face lots of harmful implements implications which outweigh its merits. Although this issue have has both pros and cons that some, myself included me, side with demerits and its detrimental effects as a dominant view. It is better to start off with defective damaging impacts of immigration that opponents criticize in regards of cultural shock and financial problems. Migration plays a pivotal role in children’s life as aliens in the host country. For example, language barrier may cause constraints that might influence on kids’ communication within society straightforwardly; such social exclusions pose a threat in with regards of to lowering self-esteem and keeping distance from the mainstream of society; In other words, these impacts ruin almost all that an individual needs to succeed in later in life. Moreover, the new comers are imposed a lot of in economic pressure is imposed on newcomers and they are deprived from of basic services as a citizen for sum of a period a while. Occurring occurrence of such changes for a child who is not mature enough to perceive the points of challenges means a lot that might promise a dim future she would not expect for. Advocates, However, are pointing the much more of a positive perspective out. They hold the belief that emigrants, especially the ones who left their low or middle level developing countries for an industrialized one, would be more likely to possess a life with a higher quality in education, health and economy for good. It is crystal clear that kids in early years of their life are far prone to adopt the altered life they are circled by, and the ones with talents and aptitudes could be sure that they are on a fertile ground for educational and job opportunities for the years ahead. By way of conclusion, a new life abroad is both a curse and opportunity and only if individuals know how to adjust and gain benefit from the new condition, could they succeed in the future life, otherwise, difficulties mentioned above would lead them to a fruitless life ahead. All in all, I hold the view of the former paragraph that is convinced the mentioned drawbacks of migration are superior more serious thanto its advantages.

Although more and more people read the news on the internet, newspaper will remain the most important source of news for the majority of people. Do you agree? It is true that the consumption of the news on the Internet is becoming increasingly ubiquitous. Whereas some argue the newspaper will keep its long-held power as the main source of news, it seems to me that it will gradually be replaced by the Internet. On the one hand, it is often argued that newspaper will continue its position as people’s major source of news, for it is considered more reliable. Since the Internet has both facilitated the process of publishing news and made it possible for everyone with just either an online computer or device, every individual, with the slightest knowledge and awareness of what has happened in reality, can write and spread their own version of the news. As a result, we are witnessing the increasing number of either fake or biased stories on the current affairs, which means it would not only lead to people losing their faith in Internet published news but also enhance the credibility and popularity of traditionally published newspapers. On the other hand, there are several reasons why the online news publishing will diminish the role of newspapers. Firstly, reading the news online is significantly easier. Having the pocket-size devices, people access the an abundance of news whether in the comfort of their home, or at work, or even on the road. Secondly, the interactive nature of the online news has been attracting more audience. The comment section of news sites, if devised appropriately, could act as a platform for news readers to share their point of view. Moreover, the authors will be more likely to gain accurate feedbacks about their pieces. Finally, people can acquire information about the recent events in at a notably faster pace. Newspapers in the best circumstances publish twice a days, the online news sites, however, are able to broadcast updates more periodically right after the incidents. In brief, although newspapers will surely be available and used in years to come, I believe their role as the most dominant source of news will slowly fade away.

We have been living in the nuclear age now for over half a century. Since the first atomic bombs were developed, nuclear technology has provided governments with the ability to totally destroy the planet. Yet the technology has been put to positive use as an energy source and in certain areas of medicine. To what extent is nuclear technology a danger to life on Earth? What are the benefits and risks associated with its use. These days, many people are afraid of nuclear technology because of the dangers associated with its use. In my opinion, although it is true that nuclear weapons pose the greatest threat to life, the use of nuclear technology for peaceful purposes also carries some serious risks. Nuclear power stations provide an important source of cheap power for many industrialised nations and some developing countries. However, there is always the danger of radiation leaking from these huge chemical plants. Even though safety precautions are taken, there have been numerous disasters such as the explosion of a nuclear factory in Russia not long ago. Nuclear technology is even used to help cure some diseases such as cancer. Radiation can be applied to the body to burn away cancerous cells. This is, however, a dangerous procedure, and the application of radiation is almost always painful and not always successful. Vice versa, the most worrying aspect of nuclear technology, though, is its use for military purposes. Enough atomic bombs have already been built to completely destroy the planet, and the real danger is that one day some country will start a war with these weapons. Too many countries now have the technology required to make/build such bombs, and there is currently much debate about how to control the situation. In conclusion, nuclear technology certainly has positive uses, but is, nonetheless, dangerous. However, it would have been better if it had never been used to create nuclear power for weapons. If life on Earth is to continue.

Many believe that technology has brought many advantages to worker`s life. Other say that it`s disadvantages are more. Discuss both side and write your idea. People have different ideas about whether or not the advantages of technology are more that than its drawbacks. Into to some extent, I believe that technology has brought more merits to people`s life compared to the past. In today`s modern society, technology plays an important role in different aspects of human life. Firstly, It contributes to workers to dodoing their job faster with computers accompany in compared with the time period before computer invention. For example, Graphics graphists/graphic artists drew their sketches with hand that itwhich took a lot of time. However, today, they do their sketches with different software programs which are not only professional and suggest various options but also can do the tasks in a shorter time. Secondly, technology has had extremely positive impact on communication globally. For instance, nowadays people can make voice or video call with to their relatives or friends around the world by using different applications on their smart phones, which it hasseemed impossible in recent decades. It translates into coming true our ancestor`s dreams coming true. Lastly, robots are the foremost technology invented these days which are targeted to be replaced with humans in near future in order to descend reduce the human work pressure and contribute to doing the tasks rapidly. So technology could be useful from different aspects. Apart from all the advantages mentioned above, from the negative point of view technology has some drawbacks as well. As the life pace is getting faster due to using technology, people must live in a fast-paced life in society and they are all in a hurry, consequently. It translates into spoiling personality through modern life, because people always have to work to adopt adapt themselves with to the with the pace of modern life. Thus they have less time to spending personally. On the other hand, it is noticed that youths are more familiar with technology particularly those related to communication, so parents and adolescence adolescents may have some problems with using new applications and it may not contribute to bridge bridging the generation gap. For example, once young generation work with their smartphones their parents will feel alone at home. Because of these reasons it is understandable that some are believe in more drawbacks with technology. To recapitulate, there are convincing arguments both for and against the technology but I believe that the benefits are outweigh its drawbacks.
